Www.maldamore.it is the most extensive and widespread Italian website that deals with emotional dependency and relational and love related ills in general, with more than 100 pages published, more than 300 free online consultations and discussions over 1000 forums. All that without any profit, without any "advertising income" without any public funding. ASIPDAR Association and this web-site were both founded by Dr. Roberto Cavaliere and funded by him and its members with their contributions when participating in seminars focused on ills related to love experiences. The web-site is also financed through contributions from therapists of different orientation - see articles and useful contributions - as well as reviews and articles written for different web-sites and magazines.
Since these matters are the subject of debate by many, but supported by few, they are often ignored if not belittled and considered not worthy of serious scientific study. That's why this web-site was founded in 2005, probably the first to be entirely dedicated to the emotional and relational dependencies. In fact, interesting articles, sections and forums on emotional dependencies were missing until a web-site like www.maldamore.it was created. Since the web-site was set up in December 2005, Maldamore became AILDAR's “official newspaper”: beyond its seminars across Italy that started in September 2006, AILDAR promotes its initiatives mainly through www.maldamore.it.
The aim of ASIPDAR is to discuss about “love ill” in a broad sense, not just about emotional dependency, and both, when carried to the extreme, can be the worst psychological ill-being that a person can face. How often, we have read that it is possible to die and even kill for “Love ill”? Hence, the web-site is indifferently directed to both sexes, although the female sex, for a variety of reasons, is more plagued by emotional dependencies.
Another purpose of the web-site, beyond the mere informational content, is to be a space for discussion and reflection on “Love ill”. It gives ample space to advice and testimonials, because we believe that "recipes" to exit the emotional dependency do not exist. Each story is a different story by itself, and other aspects should be addressed and thought through. We hope that this web-site will provide some guidance in order to alleviate the incredible sufferings that people afflicted by this form of dependence experience. For this purpose, we encourage all those who somehow have managed to escape from this dependency, to share their experience in the relevant section or in a voluntary work in a way that may be useful to others
We invite people with a relevant experience to express their discomfort in the forum where we created a discussion group to share experiences and advice. The content inserted will be monitored and kept under strict control.
The logo is a stylized phoenix. The phoenix is a legendary bird which can be consumed by its own flames and rises again from its ashes.
Finally, we invite all the interested people to participate in the Association ASIPDAR. Donations and financial aid are welcome and will be used to pursue the aim of our association. Your help is important, also because we do not rely on advertising to finance our activities.
